School of Information Technology has its inception in the year 2001. It has been accredited by NAAC-UGC, The School aims at offering Post Graduate courses with quality education primarily and also promotes research in the field of IT education.

It emerged as a hub to meet IT needs of the University alongside software consultancy offered. State of art infrastructure with 24x7 Internet facility is provided to facilitate a conducive learning atmosphere to the students. MCA, M. Tech. with different specializations and MSIT are the Post Graduate courses offered.

MSIT is offered in collaboration with CMU, Pittsburg USA. The School has MoU's with Westminster, UK and CIT, Ireland.
