The Government of Andhra Pradesh incorporated CIHL in 2002. Higher Education department issued a GO and the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) established the society, which is a statutory body of the Government of Andhra Pradesh where universities are the members. The intention is to provide enhanced opportunities in Information Technology. It also develops new tracks and courses based on emerging technologies.
